At Home with Books

At Home with Books, subtitled How Booklovers Live with and Care for Their Libraries, by Estelle Ellis, Caroline Seebohm and Christopher Simon Sykes, published by Thames & Hudson in 1995. A large format hardback with a photographic cover showing a country house library lined with shelves and stacked books. The text is illustrated throughout with colour photographs of private libraries, including designer bookrooms, country house collections and bookshelf arrangements, alongside profiles of individual booklovers.

The cover shows some edge and corner wear with light rubbing, and a small area of surface damage to the lower corner of the back board. The spine shows some soiling to the pale cloth. Pages seen are clean and bright with black text on white paper. A laid-in newspaper cutting relating to home libraries is included with this copy. Overall a well presented copy showing moderate handling wear consistent with its age.
