Bizarre Britain: A Calendar of Eccentricity by Roy Kerridge, published by Basil Blackwell in 1985. This hardback moves through the year month by month, covering folk customs and curiosities such as the Haxey Hood, the Britannia Coconut Dancers, the Hornblower of Ripon, UFO enthusiasts, gypsy and druid traditions, and Christmas in Radnorshire, illustrated with black and white photographs.

The dust jacket is heavily worn, covered in a protective plastic film that is scuffed and scratched across the front, back and spine, with a tear at the top edge and a small hole on the spine. There is a library price sticker and classification label on the spine and back cover, along with a barcode sticker. The title page carries a library stamp, accession numbers and a pencilled price. A library withdrawal stamp and a 1994 date stamp appear on the preliminary page. Text pages appear clean with clear print.
