Cotton Club - James Haskins, James Haskins

The Cotton Club by Jim Haskins, published by Robson Books in 1985. This paperback tells the history of Harlem's famous nightclub and its connection to the Francis Coppola film starring Richard Gere, Gregory Hines, Diane Lane and Bob Hoskins. The cover features a stylish Art Deco style illustration of a couple in gold, black and silver, and the book is illustrated with black and white photographs and reproductions throughout its pages.

The cover shows some creasing and a small mark near the top edge, along with light rubbing and wear to the corners. The spine shows some discolouration and wear along the edges. Internally, the copyright page is clear and legible, with text slightly visible in reverse from the facing page. The sample page shown has clean, white paper with sharp black and white printing and no visible foxing or staining.
