Edwardian Life and Leisure - Ronald Pearsall

Edwardian Life and Leisure by Ronald Pearsall, published by David & Charles in 1973. This hardback carries a bright yellow pictorial cover showing an Edwardian street scene with figures in period dress, titled in red gothic lettering.

This is an ex-library copy. The title page bears a Shropshire County Library stamp dated 01/1923/73, along with a later discarded stamp from Telford & Wrekin Libraries.

The spine shows the title and author in black lettering on the yellow background, with a library label remnant near the base. The cover shows general wear with some rubbing and creasing at the corners and edges, and a crease visible on the front panel. Internally, the pages seen are cream-toned with occasional spotting and a patch of discolouration visible near the margin on some pages. Text is printed in a clear serif font, with black-and-white illustrations including period cartoons and photographs reproduced within the chapters.
