This is the SI units edition, a paperback textbook covering calculations, craft science, engineering drawing and craft theory, illustrated with diagrams and worked examples throughout its chapters on topics such as symbolic notation, angles and drilling machines.

The cover is blue with illustrations of shaft and bush components, and shows an ink mark across the top edge. The spine shows wear with some creasing and rubbing at the head and tail. The front corners show bumping and the board edges have visible wear with the underlying paper showing through along several edges. The covers show general handling marks and the front cover has a vertical crease line. The back cover carries publisher information and a price of £1.90 net. Internally, the pages photographed appear clean with legible text and diagrams.
