Moon Squadron - Jerrard Tickell

Moon Squadron by Jerrard Tickell, published in paperback by Hodder and Stoughton in 1960. The work was first published by Allan Wingate in 1956, and this edition was printed and bound in Great Britain by Richard Clay and Company Ltd of Bungay, Suffolk. The cover illustration shows an aircraft dropping parachutists over hills at night, watched by a man and woman, with a quote from Winston Churchill. The back cover gives background on the Special Operations Executive and its wartime role.

The paperback shows wear consistent with its age, with rubbing and some loss along the spine edges and corners. The cream pages have browned with age and show spotting in places. The spine lettering remains legible. Covers are intact and attached, with creasing and surface marks visible on the front and back panels.
