Parkinson's Lore by Michael Parkinson, published by Pavilion Books in association with Michael Joseph, 1981. This anthology collects pieces originally appearing in The Sunday Times and Punch. The hardback features a painted cover illustration of a Northern street scene by Ian Lowndes, dated 1970, with a photographic portrait of Michael Parkinson inset on the front, and repeats the same street scene design on the back cover and spine.

The copyright page notes that this is a second impression, reprinted before publication.

The book opens to cream-coloured pages with black printed text and an occasional line illustration, as seen in the Demolition Expert and Let Battle Commence chapters. The dustjacket shows some wear consistent with age and handling, including light rubbing to the extremities. The text block appears intact and legible throughout the sampled pages.
