Pin-Stripe Saboteur - Charles Wighton
Pin-Stripe Saboteur by Charles Wighton, published by Odhams, first published 1959. This is the story of "Robin", a British agent and French Resistance leader, told against the backdrop of wartime Paris and France.
The dust jacket carries a bold collage-style illustration featuring the Eiffel Tower, wartime posters and a figure in a dark coat, with the title in bold lettering. The spine shows the title, author and publisher repeated, with matching artwork.
The jacket shows notable wear, including chipping and loss to the spine ends and top edge, a tear at the lower edge of the rear panel, and general rubbing and fading consistent with age. The book has a front inscription reading "To Gordon From Eileen Christmas 1961". Page edges show light tanning. The text block appears firm, and the printed pages are clear and legible with cream-toned paper.
