Stewponey Countryside - Frances E. Campbell

Stewponey Countryside by Frances E. Campbell, published by Mark & Moody Ltd. of Stourbridge. This is the second impression, dated 1979, the work having first been published in 1966. The softback cover carries a gold wreath design around an illustration of the Stewponey hotel, with the Kinver rope motif to the lower corner.

Inside, the title page carries a handwritten price of 1.00 at the top. The text is illustrated with a photograph of Stewponey Road House and a reproduction of the Foley crest, alongside the opening chapter on the history and legends of the Stewponey district.

The paper is a light cream colour and the print is clear and dark. The covers show light handling wear consistent with age, with the back cover plain and unmarked.
