The Law for Motorists

The Law for Motorists, published by Consumers' Association, with this edition dated Third Edition, April 1964. A CA publication, originally priced at 6 shillings as printed on the cover.

The cover carries a bold red, black and white design with triangle and circle motifs, and the title set beneath in black and white panels. The spine repeats the title and the CA initials. The back cover is plain red with a white band towards the base.

Inside, the paper is a pale cream colour with black printed text, including a contents list and chapter headings such as "The Framework of the Law". One page features a simple line illustration of three figures wearing learner driver plates.

The cover shows wear at the corners and spine ends, with some creasing and surface marks, including a faint curved mark on the back cover. The spine has some rubbing and a small tear at the head. Overall the binding remains intact.
