150 Years of Main Line Railways - O. S. Nock
150 Years of Main Line Railways by O. S. Nock, published by David & Charles in 1980, is a hardback history of British railways marking a century and a half since the Liverpool & Manchester Railway opened, with photographic illustrations throughout its chapters including views of LMSR and LNER locomotives.
The dust jacket is blue with white lettering and a line illustration of an early locomotive alongside an Inter-City 125, and shows some shelf wear and a crease. The spine carries a library shelfmark label. Internally, the book has a Derbyshire County Library stamp dated 20 March 1980 on the title page and a further stamp noting it was withdrawn from stock for sale, dated 11 October 1989. Some light marking is visible to the preliminary pages. The text pages photographed show clear black print on white paper with black and white plates.
