A Miniature History of the English House - J. M. Richards

A Miniature History of the English House by J. M. Richards, published by Architectural Press. This copy is the fifth impression, dated February 1946, priced at 4/6 net.

The dust jacket carries a photographic image of an English house on the front cover, with an interior view of a panelled hall on the rear. Inside pages include further black and white photographs of English houses of various periods, with accompanying text, printed on plain paper.

The dust jacket is worn, with tears and losses at the spine head and along the top edge, and further tears visible at the foot of the spine. The front cover also shows a repaired tear near the top. The spine panel remains legible, with the title and publisher's name printed clearly. Some foxing and staining marks are visible to the rear panel. The boards beneath appear rubbed at the extremities.
