A Seal Called Andre - Harry Goodridge

A seal called Andre, by Harry Goodridge and Lew Dietz, published by Praeger in 1975. The full title reads A Seal Called Andre: The Two Worlds of a Maine Harbor Seal. The hardback cover shows a colour photograph of Harry Goodridge with the seal Andre on a boat, with the title in orange lettering, and the black spine carries the title in yellow with the Praeger imprint at the foot. The rear cover has a black and white photograph of Andre on a porch step, with a short quoted passage below.

The book is laid in with a number of newspaper clippings about Andre, including photographs and articles from local papers covering his travels and public appearances.

The boards and spine show light wear at the extremities. The text pages are cream in tone, clear and legible, with black and white photographs of Harry Goodridge and Andre illustrating the text.
