Albert Speer: His Battle with Truth - Gitta Sereny
Albert Speer: His Battle with Truth by Gitta Sereny, published by Macmillan in 1995. This is a hardback biography examining Speer's life and his relationship with Hitler, illustrated with black and white photographs from the period, including images of Speer, Himmler and others associated with the Third Reich.
The dust jacket shows the cover image of Speer and Hitler in conversation, with the title in gold lettering. The spine carries a library shelfmark label reading B SPEE. The jacket has wear to the edges and corners, with some creasing and a small tear visible along one edge. The front board beneath is dark green cloth.
The text pages are cream in tone with occasional light spotting visible on the fore-edges. A library ownership stamp and issue slip are present on the endpaper and copyright page, showing a Wrekin Council library provenance. The book retains its printed illustrations clearly.
