Bears on Chairs - Shirley Parenteau

Bears on Chairs by Shirley Parenteau, illustrated by David Walker, published by Walker Books. A rhyming picture book following a group of bears and their small chairs.

This is the paperback edition. The cover shows four bears - blue, pink, yellow and brown - each with a chair, against a plain white background with pale blue title lettering. The back cover carries the blurb, a bear illustration, barcode and price sticker of £6.99.

Inside, the paper is plain white and the text is set in dark serif type paired with soft watercolour-style illustrations of the bears in various poses on their chairs. The title page repeats the yellow bear on a blue chair design from the cover.

The covers show light general handling, with a small mark near the top left corner of the front cover. Corners and edges appear sound in the photographs. No other faults are visible.
