Bulletin du Bibliophile
Bulletin du Bibliophile, the periodical founded in 1834, presented here as volume I, published in Paris in 1978. This issue forms part of a new series produced under the Association Internationale de Bibliophilie and the Syndicat National de la Librairie Ancienne et Moderne.
Contents include articles on rare editions, bookbinding decoration, and illustrated books, along with regular chronicle sections covering manuscripts, printed works, society activities, exhibitions, and bibliography, as well as a public sales listing. A loose subscription form for the Bulletin is included with the issue.
The book is a paperback with plain card covers, cream in colour with printed black lettering to the front. There is some browning to the edges of the front cover, most noticeable along the top and side margins, with a few small marks visible. The spine and interior pages appear clean, with black and white illustrations reproduced within the text.
