Carrott Roots and Other Myths - Jasper Carrott

Carrott Roots and Other Myths by Jasper Carrott, published in paperback by Arrow Books.

This comic memoir-style collection includes anecdotes, illustrations, a mock letter, and photographs, mixing personal reminiscence with humorous asides about showbusiness and everyday life. The cover shows Carrott smeared with soil, clutching a burst vegetable sack, with the back cover carrying a list of tongue-in-cheek chapter highlights.

The paperback has a glossy pictorial cover in red, white and yellow, with the title lettering along the spine. Internally the paper is off-white, with clear black text and occasional line illustrations and photographic reproductions. There is some light wear to the extremities of the cover, with a small crease and mark visible near the top of the spine. The corners show light rubbing consistent with handling. No inscriptions or additional markings are visible in the photographs.
