Children's book covers - Alan Powers

Children's Book Covers by Alan Powers, published by Mitchell Beazley in 2003. This hardback survey of book jacket and cover design features a montage of colourful children's book covers across its own front and back covers, spanning titles from classic annuals and picture books through to postwar favourites.

The book is presented in hardback with a pictorial cover rather than a separate dust jacket, the covers themselves made up of a collage of reproduced book covers. The spine is clean and legible, with the title and author printed in black and pink against a white ground.

Internally, the sample page shown has cream-coloured paper with clear black text and a colour illustration reproduced sharply. The copyright page is intact and legible, giving full publication details.
