Collins Atlas of the World, published by Collins Publishers in 1983. A large hardback reference atlas with a green and purple dust jacket featuring a globe design, covering world maps, geographical data and a compendium section as listed on the rear cover.

The dust jacket shows notable wear, with a tear visible along the lower edge of the front board and creasing to the spine panel. The purple colour has faded and marked in places, particularly towards the lower corners. The spine panel shows some colour variation from pink to green. Page edges are visible and appear in sound order. Sample interior pages show clear colour printing of political and thematic world maps with no significant marking evident. The copyright page confirms the 1983 first publication details and ISBN 0 00 447040 0.
