Crackers Annual, published by Fleetway House in 1935, in hardback.

The front cover carries a colourful pictorial illustration showing children at a picnic with a Punch and Judy show, a dog, and a horse, with the title lettering in red and green. The rear board is given over to an advertisement for Eno's "Fruit Salt", printed in blue and white with a cockerel motif. The spine is plain cloth, now faded and worn at the head and tail.

Internally, the book opens with an editor's letter from the Fleetway House address, followed by a flyleaf bearing an ownership inscription reading "Anthony Attree". The text pages are printed on tan paper with black-and-white line illustrations accompanying the stories, including "Santa Claus' Secret" and "Pirate's Gold".

Wear is considerable: both boards show heavy rubbing, staining, chipping and loss to the covering material, particularly at the corners and edges, with the front cover panel partially detached at the top. The spine cloth is scuffed and discoloured. Internal pages show toning and some staining.
