Creative Cooking - Jill Warner

Creative Cooking, edited by Jill Warner, is a hardback recipe collection covering a wide range of dishes, from savoury pies, flans and pastries through to roasts, casseroles and sweet tarts. The cover is illustrated with a photograph of a quiche, salad and glasses of white wine on a lace-covered table, with the title in orange lettering above.

The book is presented in the recognisable format of the illustrated hardback cookery guides of its era, with colour photographs accompanying each recipe. Inside, the pages shown are cream in colour with clear black print, and recipes such as leek pie, cheese slices, egg and bacon flan, roast ham, pork hot-pot, roast duck, and almond and jam tart are laid out with ingredients lists alongside step-by-step instructions.

The front cover shows some surface marks and light rubbing, particularly towards the top edge, along with a faint indentation running horizontally near the title. The corners show light wear. No tears or major losses are visible in the photographs.
