Eagle Annual

Eagle Annual Number 9, edited by Marcus Morris and published by Hulton Press Ltd, described on the title spread as "The Ninth Eagle Annual". The cover shows a red ground with a large illustration of an eagle in flight, with lettering for "Eagle Annual" and a panel listing contents including sport, stories, adventure strips, humour, science, real life stories, hobbies and nature. The spine is plain dark green cloth.

The covers show heavy wear, with scuffing, rubbing and loss to the corners and edges, and chipping visible along the board edges. The spine cloth is faded and marked. Internally, the pages seen are cream in tone, with black and white comic strip pages shown in the middle of the book, printed clearly. The back cover is plain red with a black eagle device and the wording "Companion to Girl, Swift and Robin, A Hulton Publication".
