A hardback guide covering coarse fishing, fly fishing and sea fishing, with sections on bait, casting, landing fish, where to go and societies to join. Illustrated throughout with colour photographs of fishing locations, equipment and technique sequences, alongside colour plates of fish species on the covers.

The blue cover shows some surface scuffing and light wear at the corners and spine ends. There is a mark on the upper left of the back cover, possibly from a removed label or tape residue. The spine panel remains clear and legible, with the Blitz imprint shown at the base. The copyright and title page is clean and legible. The sample interior page shown has bright white paper with clear colour printing and no visible foxing or staining.
