Five Go to Smuggler's Top by Enid Blyton, published by Hodder & Stoughton. The copyright page confirms first publication in July 1945, with this being the fourth impression, dated July 1950.

The book is bound in red cloth boards, with the title to the front cover and spine in black lettering, and the author's name and publisher's device also shown on the spine. The front cover bears a handwritten signature reading "Enid Blyton".

The boards show general wear consistent with age, including some rubbing and fading to the cloth, particularly along the spine edges. A faint mark is visible on the front cover. The spine shows a small area of wear at the head. Internally, the sample page shown has cream-toned paper with a black and white line illustration with blue highlighting, and the text is clear and well set.
