Forever Yesterday - Maurice Cunningham
Forever Yesterday by Maurice Cunningham is a paperback account by a Birmingham man of his experiences as a Japanese prisoner of war between 1942 and 1945, edited and compiled from the author's notes by Arthur Lane. It was published by Zeebra Publishing in 1998. The cover illustration shows a soldier in colonial-era uniform standing before a line of prisoners behind a wire fence.
This copy is a former library stock book. It carries Birmingham Libraries stamps and a Quinton Library stamp on the title and copyright pages, along with a "Discard" stamp, and the spine bears library classification labels. The green cloth-effect spine strip shows some wear and a small split near the base. The covers show edge wear and light creasing, with a crease visible on the back cover near the lower corner. The text pages appear clean and legible, printed on white paper.
