Fountain pens - Jonathan Steinberg
Fountain Pens by Jonathan Steinberg is a collector's guide to selecting, buying and enjoying new and vintage fountain pens, published by Apple Press in 1994. The hardback cover features full-size photographs of pens arranged against a white background, with the title in blue lettering.
Inside, the book is illustrated throughout with colour photographs of individual pens alongside explanatory text covering their history and design. The example shown includes a page on self-filling pens and one on L.E. Waterman & Co in Europe, with clear, well-reproduced images and printed text on white paper.
The dust jacket shows surface scuffing, light scratches and some creasing, particularly towards the edges and spine. There is a small sticker to the lower front cover and a library-style label to the spine base. The copyright page bears an ownership stamp from Hereford and Worcester County Libraries, with a shelf mark number. The book retains its original jacket, with the ISBN and barcode visible on the rear panel.
