Hitler Lives - Pierre Galante
Hitler Lives – and the Generals Die by Pierre Galante, published by Book Club Associates in 1982. This edition draws on the unpublished recollections of General Heusinger, Chief of Operations of Hitler's army and later a NATO commander, offering a narrative of the German generals' opposition to their Führer.
The hardback is presented in a red and cream dust jacket featuring a cover illustration of Hitler, with the spine carrying the title and author in bold lettering. The rear jacket shows a black and white photograph of two men.
The jacket shows some wear, with a tear and creasing visible at the top corner of the front panel. The front free endpaper has a small residue mark, likely from a removed label, along with a faint spot of discolouration nearby. The text block appears clean on the sample page shown, with clear black print on white paper.
