Judy for Girls

Judy for Girls annual, published by D. C. Thomson & Co., Ltd. The cover is dated 1981, though the copyright page states 1980. A red hardback with the title in yellow lettering, the front cover showing a girl embracing a pony, and the same image repeated on the back cover.

Inside, the frontispiece features an illustration of a girl sliding down a rainbow towards a stack of annuals, captioned "The Crock of Gold at the end of the Rainbow". A sample spread shows the "Sawdust Story" feature on yellowed paper with black text and photographic cut-out illustrations. The book also includes a Judy Zoo Calendar section with monthly animal photographs.

The spine is red with yellow lettering reading "Judy for Girls" and shows light wear at the head and tail. The covers show some edge and corner rubbing, with a glossy finish that has minor surface marks. The pages appear age-toned, consistent with a book of this date.
