Land Everlasting - A. G. Street
Land Everlasting by A. G. Street, published by The Bodley Head. This is the Cheap Edition, 1937, with the dust wrapper showing an aerial photograph of farmland and villages, with the title and author's name in green lettering.
The dust wrapper is well worn, with heavy loss and tearing along the edges and spine, exposing the tan cloth boards beneath. The spine panel of the wrapper is torn away at the base, revealing "The Bodley Head" printed on the cloth. The front and back panels remain largely attached but with chipping and some loss at the corners and edges.
Internally, the paper is cream-toned with some scattered foxing spots visible on the early leaves. The text block appears complete with clear printed pages. There is an ownership inscription on the front endpaper reading "W Kilvert, Hale Farm, 1937, 3/-".
