Marilyn Album - Nicki Giles
The Marilyn Album by Nicki Giles, published by Greenwich Editions in 2003, is a hardback study of Marilyn Monroe illustrated with photographs and Andy Warhol style pop art portraits on the cover.
The front cover features a grid of six colourful screenprint-style Marilyn portraits beneath the title, while the back cover carries a black and white photograph of Monroe seated poolside. The spine shows the title and author in blue and white, with the publisher's logo at the base.
Inside, the copyright page confirms the 2003 PRC Publishing/Greenwich Editions printing, with text noting the original 1991 copyright and printing in China. The open page spread shows cream paper with black and white film stills and accompanying text, clear and well printed with no notable marks visible.
The cover shows light surface wear and a few small marks, with the spine and corners intact. The dust jacket is unclipped and the binding appears square and sound.
