Memories of a 'Twenties Child by Douglas V. Jones is a paperback local history title published by Westwood Press, this being the second impression of March 1983 (first published September 1981). It is a profusely illustrated account of Birmingham and Sutton Coldfield between the wars, covering trams, gas lamps, crystal sets and street scenes of the period, with period photographs and line illustrations reproduced in black and white.

The title page carries a signature reading "Douglas V. Jones" beneath the printed title, along with a handwritten inscription "Fathers Day 1984" on a preliminary page.

The cover is yellow and brown with illustrated motifs around a central circular photograph of a Birmingham street scene. There is some wear and creasing to the covers, with a crease visible at the top corner of the front cover and light rubbing to the spine ends. The back cover shows a faint inked or rubbed mark over the price panel. Internally the pages appear clean where shown, printed on coated paper.
