My Strangest Case, edited by Kurt Singer, is a collection of true crime accounts contributed by police chiefs from around the world, published in hardback by W. H. Allen of Essex Street, London. The dust jacket front carries a bold black and red design showing prison bars and discarded police headwear, with the title in cream lettering. The rear jacket panel advertises other crime and criminology titles from the same publisher, and the front flap is priced at 13s 6d net.

The dust jacket shows notable wear, with chipping and loss along the spine ends and corners, creased edges, and general rubbing and soiling to the surface. The spine panel remains legible, with the title, editor and publisher clearly printed in red and black. Internally, the text pages shown are cream in tone with some light spotting visible, and the print appears clear and well set. The front free endpaper shows a patch of discolouration.
