Orders and Decorations - Dust Jacket - Václav Měřička

Orders and Decorations by Václav Měřička is a hardback reference book published by The Hamlyn Publishing Group Ltd, this being the second impression of 1969, printed in Czechoslovakia.

The dust jacket is black, with a cover illustration of a decoration on gold chains and the title in orange and pale blue lettering. The spine carries the title and author in orange on a cream panel, with the publisher's name at the foot. The jacket shows noticeable wear, with tears at the corners and edges, some of which have been reinforced with tape, and losses to the spine ends.

Internally, the book is well illustrated with colour and monochrome plates of orders, medals and insignia on black backgrounds, with facing pages of descriptive text on white paper. The copyright page confirms the 1969 second impression and Czechoslovak printing.
