Sandwell

Sandwell metropolitan borough guide, a paperback promotional and information booklet for the borough, illustrated with an aerial photograph collage on the cover showing the shape of the borough overlaid with a town and industrial landscape.

The covers are cream card with yellow and black lettering. A small sticker reading 'GUIDE 1974' is stuck to the top left of the front cover. There is some creasing and surface wear to the corners, with a small chip visible at the bottom right of the front cover and light soiling marks on the back cover. The spine shows a little creasing.

Inside, the paper is white, with black and white text pages alongside colour photographic plates showing local scenes including sports facilities, a swimming pool and a historic building. There are advertisements for local businesses printed throughout the pages shown, in black and white and colour. No foxing is visible on the pages photographed.
