The Book-Hunter at Home - P. B. M. Allan

The Book-Hunter at Home by P. B. M. Allan, published by Philip Allan & Co. of London, this being the second edition, revised. A plain cloth-bound hardback with the title and author lettered in gilt on the spine, the boards otherwise undecorated.

The covers show general rubbing and some surface marking, with a patch of wear visible to the lower edge of the rear board. The corners show light bumping. The spine ends and joints appear rubbed but intact. Internally the paper is a soft cream colour, and the text pages photographed are clear and well printed, with a chapter heading illustration on one page. A small pencilled catalogue number appears at the top of the title page.

Overall a sound, honestly worn copy showing the handling one would expect of a book of this age.
