The Complete Guide to Fishing Skills by Tony Whieldon, published by Ward Lock in 1988 and reprinted in 1991. A hardback reference book covering coarse, trout and sea fishing, illustrated with detailed line drawings and diagrams, including sections on species identification and fly fishing technique.

The green cloth boards carry a colour cover illustration of an angler by a river, with the Fishing Skills series logo to the front and rear. There is wear to the corners and head of the spine, with some bumping and a small split visible at the top of the spine. The front board shows light surface marks and a scuff near the title panel.

Internally, the pages appear cream with some light spotting visible on the fore-edge. The copyright page confirms the 1988 first publication and 1991 reprint. A gift inscription dated Christmas 1991 appears on the front endpaper.
