THE CORONATION OF THEIR MAJESTIES KING GEORGE VI & QUEEN ELIZABETH

The Coronation of Their Majesties King George VI & Queen Elizabeth, the Official Souvenir Programme issued for King George's Jubilee Trust, published by Odhams Press Limited, 1937, for the coronation of 12th May 1937.

The card cover carries the printed price of 1' and shows the royal coat of arms with the lion and unicorn in gold, red and blue, bordered by a decorative panel. Inside, the book opens to a genealogical table showing the descent of the crown, followed by a foreword by the Duke of Gloucester facing a portrait of Queen Mary, and a title page listing the states and territories under the Crown at the time.

The covers show wear consistent with age, with rubbing to the extremities and a curl to the corners visible when the book is stood upright. The spine has visible staples. The paper is toned and shows some spotting and marking, particularly to the blank leaf photographed. The overall printing remains clear and legible.
