The England of Charles II by Arthur Bryant, published by Longmans, Green and Co., London, New York and Toronto, 1934. A red cloth hardback with the title and author lettered in gilt on the spine. Printed by Jarrold and Sons Ltd., Norwich, as stated on the copyright page.

The front and back boards are plain red cloth, with some light marking and a small scuff visible to the rear board. The spine ends show a little wear with a small nick to the head. The text block edges have scattered foxing, and the title page and a few early leaves show light browning and spotting. The page sampled from the middle of the book shows cream-toned paper with clear black print and no illustrations visible. The text appears complete and legible in the photographed pages.
