The Motorist's Miscellany
The Motorist's Miscellany, edited by Anthony Harding, was published by B. T. Batsford Ltd in 1964. The dust jacket features colour cover illustrations of road scenes, racing cars and a vintage touring car, with the title set across red and white panels. The collection brings together motoring-related pieces from various contributors, including essays such as "These I Have Loathed" and "Faraway Throwaway Castaway" by Michael Brown.
The dust jacket shows wear at the extremities, with a small tear and loss at the top edge of the spine and some creasing along the top corners. The spine panel remains bright with clear lettering against the green ground. Internally, the paper is clean with occasional light spotting. A handwritten birthday inscription signed Connie appears on the front endpaper.
