The Shops - India Knight

The Shops by India Knight is a shopping guide first published in this BCA edition in 2003, by arrangement with Viking, The Penguin Group. Illustrations are by Sam Wilson. The cover design resembles a brown-paper parcel tied with pink string, with a torn label-style panel giving the title, author and subtitle "How, Why and Where to Shop". The back cover continues the theme with further handwritten-style notes pinned under the string, and a barcode label in the lower corner. The spine carries matching paper labels with the author and title.

Inside, the text is set on cream paper with occasional pen-and-ink illustrations alongside practical shopping entries and footnotes. The copyright page confirms the 2003 BCA edition details and printer information.

The hardback retains its brown parcel-style covers and pink string detailing, with an orange ribbon page marker attached at the spine.
