The Topper Book 1984

The Topper Book 1984, published by D. C. Thomson & Co. Ltd. This annual gathers comic strips and features based on the long-running Topper characters, with full colour artwork on the cover and throughout the sample pages shown, including a science-fiction strip and a slapstick family scene.

The cover shows heavy wear, with scuffing, creasing and rubbing to the corners and edges, along with scattered surface marks and a white scuff or abrasion to the lower section of the front board. The spine shows some rubbing and general wear consistent with the rest of the covers. The back cover has similar surface wear and a noticeable white mark towards the base.

Internally, the title page and facing page are bright and clean, with the ownership rhyme and blank name and address panel printed as issued. The sample story pages show bright colour reproduction with no noted foxing or staining.
