Vet in a Spin: All Creatures Great and Small #6 - James Herriot

Vet in a Spin by James Herriot, published by Michael Joseph in 1977. This is the sixth in the All Creatures Great and Small series, a hardback in cloth boards with the original illustrated dust jacket showing a biplane spinning above a vet chasing a sheep near a church.

The copyright page confirms first publication by Michael Joseph Ltd in 1977, with ISBN 0718116453, set and printed by Hollen Street Press and bound by Redwood Burn Ltd.

The dust jacket shows general handling wear, with some creasing and rubbing to the edges and corners, and a faint mark visible on the upper front panel. The spine panel remains bright with clear lettering. The back cover carries a photograph of the author along with press quotations. Internally, the text block shown is clean with a line drawing illustration facing the start of chapter twelve, printed on cream paper.
