Motoring - Rupert Prior

Motoring: The Golden Years, compiled by Rupert Prior, with a foreword by Cyril Posthumus and illustrations from the Khachadourian Gallery. This 1994 hardback was published by Tiger Books International, London, and is described as a pictorial anthology, bringing together vintage motoring posters, advertisements and artwork alongside text covering early motor racing and manufacturers.

The dust jacket is a laminated collage of period motoring illustrations and posters, including Mercedes, Chrysler and Grand Prix imagery, with the title in a green panel. The spine is green with yellow lettering. The front of the jacket shows some surface wear and a sticker mark at lower left. The jacket has edge and corner wear consistent with handling.

Inside, the paper is white, with colour illustrations and printed text in good register. The dedication page and publication details are clearly printed, giving the ISBN and Hong Kong printing.
