Ruby Red - Linzi Glass

Ruby Red by Linzi Glass, published by Penguin Books. This paperback edition was first published in 2007, with this printing dated 2008. The cover illustration, by Alice Stevenson, shows a red line drawing of a girl's profile with pink flowers on a cream background, with the tagline "The colour of passion, the colour of danger". The back cover carries a summary of the story and praise for the author's earlier novel, The Year the Gypsies Came.

The cover shows noticeable wear, with creasing and a small tear at the top edge of the front cover, and general rubbing and softening to the corners. The spine is intact but shows some creasing. The page edges have browned with age, particularly along the top. The text pages are cream-coloured with clear, readable print, and show some light spotting.
